There are lots of things you can do while in South Korea! Things to do indoors, things to do outdoors, and things you can only do in Korea! In this episode we share some of these alternative things to do while in Korea along with our own experiences.
Our guest, Michael DeLorenzo, has lived in South Korea for the past 8 years. He’s originally from the United States and is a teacher at Changwon National University. He has been running a group in Changwon called the ‘Changwon Culture and Activity Group‘ for the past 4 ½ years, and he joins us to share in all the different activities that they group does and why the group exists.
We each share in our own experiences of fun, strange, indoors, outdoors, and craziest things we’ve done while living in South Korea (combined +27 years) including screen rooms, singing rooms, festivals and concerts, mystery dinners, movie nights, ghost hunting, and even hiking in North Korea!

Each of us gives some of the things we do indoors and activities we each like to indoors while living in South Korea including screen rooms, escape room, VR rooms, board games, DnD, singing rooms, and ice skating and the ice rinks in the Changwon Area.
Outdoor activities we each like to do in Korea including batting cages, hiking, the Changwon reservoir, parks, events, festivals, ghost hunting, the Dark Side of Seoul Tour, and biking.
Our own experiences of some of the strangest and craziest things that we’ve each done during our time in South Korea including stories on dog soup, living octopus, lost in NamHae, saved by the Fire Department, October Fest, and hiking in North Korea as well as getting on the wrong bus in North Korea!
Michael talks about trying to bike from Busan to Seoul, Incheon on a bike path that takes you all the way and all the bike hotels along the way.
The most fun things we’ve each done in Korea including fireworks festivals, music festivals, camping, Metallica in Korea, JinJu Lantern Festival, and the Anndong Mask Festival.
Adam sums up everything and where you can get in contact with each of us and submit any questions you would like regarding to living in South Korea.
